1 - How did the interest in fabrics and what is your background?

The interest in fabrics and fashion has always existed in my life, but it's time to choose a profession, our market was still very restricted and there was a specific course in this branch.

When I was finishing the course in Public Relations in 2004 that I realized that it was time to dedicate myself to Design, as well as longer able to count on good courses in Curitiba, it was possible to see that our market was conducive to enterprises that the area.

Today, with training in fashion design, the more experience I gained at that time with extension courses, I can say it was worth investing to work with I really like.

2-Who are your customers?

Our main customer is the couple who is preparing to have children or who already own them. At this time of life, the sling helps them bring their babies on their laps from the moment they are born until about 3 years old.

Besides the Internet, where we serve customers around the world (we have slings walking in France, England and even in Japan!), We have some points of sale in Curitiba, Sao Paulo and Jundiaí.

In Sao Paulo entered into partnership with the stores Maria Barriga, with different patterns, and specially selected.

Extending our creations launched a mini children's collection for boys and girls 01 to 04 years.

3-What are the fabrics you use? In addition to cotton has some other type of fabric?

Besides the traditional tricoline, yarn dyed and jeans, we are launching the flannel sling, which is also 100% cotton, but offers greater thermal capacity, great for cold days.

We seek to work only with 100% cotton fabrics, they offer good durability and is sweating. (If the sling is used correctly will have a lifetime much larger than the 3 years to as much as intended, and can even be passed to other moms use later).

We buy fabrics from the best manufacturers in Brazil and some are imported, such as African fabrics, which are beautiful! The rings that we use in making the sling (change) have a resistance of up to 80kg.

5-There are different types of sling? If yes, what are they?

The most popular models are the sling ring sling , the sling pouch and wrap.

The wrap is a strip of fabric without rings and adjustments which are very long moorings in the body. (I only do this custom, so we have only one explanatory framework of how to use.) Allows use in children up to about 2 years old or so.

6-The question whether the mothers Sling is safe and sturdy? It is safe and sturdy? Why?

Yes, the sling is safe and sturdy.

As mentioned previously, the slings are made with cotton, Ribbed and rings with the manufacturer's report of resistance to 80Kg.

Many pediatricians recommend the use of the sling, to be ergonomic and comfortable.

A pediatrician Dr. Ducci Ivonete also gave his testimony in favor:

"... Allows both mother and baby are comfortable anatomically, without harming the child's development."

When using the sling is important to take the same care when a person takes a child on her lap. So attention must be paid when descending and climbing stairs, handling sharp objects and sinks and taps with hot water. Similarly, frequently check the status of the seams of the sling, good times and ensuring baby's safety.

7-Up to what age child it can be loaded into the sling?

The sling can be used until the child is about 2 or 3 years, depending on the model of the sling.

8-When they became popular in Brazil and especially in Curitiba?

The sling is still popular in Brazil. Globalization is influencing our market forecasts and search for quality of life coupled with the environmental issue is a tendency of naturalism and proof that the market shows promise. This enhances and promotes the use of products such as sling, organic food and recycling, for example.

When we began researching on the slings, have not met here in Brazil, so we had enough trouble to set the model to make them safe and adaptable to the body. This happened when my niece was "on track" and when she was born, we begin to use the sling on the streets, and people were getting interested and asking for so much that I ended up totally dedicated to the sling.

Today, the past few years, we've had the sling throughout Brazil and is much easier to ask questions, especially the amount of information available on the Internet.

9-Can you tell me a little of the history of the sling?

For over a century, many cultures have used the cloth as a support to carry their children, as the peoples of Africa, Alaska, Tibet, Korea, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, among others. here are some pictures.

In 1981, an American married to a Hawaiian rings adapted the yoke of his wife to carry her child. It is this version that became popular in Western cultures, such as the sling rings, opening visibility to all the natural ways of carrying a child on her lap.

10-Can you tell me a little about the launch of the site and also the collection of children's clothes?

The new site is another step which gives our company into the e-commerce, which is a major trend.

We are moving to a structure that allows the customer easy access to information and products.

After a positive experience in some parts in the summer, the new children's collection will be launched along with the collection of slings for fall winter 2009.

Encouraged to delve into that child's universe, the collection was inspired by the children who grew up in the sling and kept in touch with us, encouraging us to continue this relationship.
